Dec 28th 2023. First day in Washington DC and let me tell you, it was c h i l l a y. Had a quick outfit change as soon as I got into my hotel room and left to go and grab a Cocomo which I’d been absurdly craving since the last time I came to the States (summer 2023). Its a coffee iced drink consisting of a coconut syrup flawlessly mixed in with a divine chocolatey milk and coffee of course, to perfection. It’s from this cute drive thru place called ‘Dutch Bros’ and we don’t have it in the UK so that first sip after some time off, really hit the spot.
This 2000’s style cropped parka I’m wearing here was, dare I say, perfect for the occasion. Easy to move in and kept me considerably warm, also looks cool and has huge pockets that I can just bury my hands in to feel even cooler. I also adored the colour of it. You can never really go wrong with a khaki colour jacket in my opinion, the colour has an edgy feel to it and its not too much either if you want to downplay an outfit. It has an oversized faux-fur hood that can be unzipped into drop shoulders which I thought gave the whole outfit a quirky touch.
